No, no! The arthritis bobbins are those with proud (i.e., raised) pewter dots on them. The rotten pewter is another thing altogether, and not something that the bobbin makers anticipated. But I do have one other thing *not* to do to an arthritic joint: *Don't* slam it in a door!!! That
