The Tatters Guild here in Melbourne (Australia) has to bring a box of books
for us to browse through, each meeting, as we have no library cupboard at the
Hall where we meet. For any special book, we can email the librarian and ask
for it to be brought to the next meeting (which is every 2 months)

Norfolk Lacemakers have a very large library but we cannot store them where we
meet but are lucky enough to have two very good librarians who supply a list of

How do you store your lace books? Is it alphabetical by author or by
alphabetical by type. Â Mine is by type of lace but certain authors like
Ulrike have a section for their books which cover many laces.

Jane Austen Society; it had a fairly large number of members and each month the
librarians would go to the house where the library was kept

Can you give us any idea how the system of library off-site can work. My
group's meeting place is less than satisfactory in some respects but we stick
with them because they store our group library. Having an off-site system might
open up more options.

My lace club went through this a little over a year ago; we ended with a
higher rent but a much better place.
Good luck with the move and the new library system. I think most clubs have to
keep their library off-site; it takes a bit of getting used to but it can work
well.

wondering about posts, also. There were a bunch of them for a bit, then

Oregon varies from hot, to cloudy and damp. We are to have two cooler days,
