There is a lovely pattern of wedding bells as a garter in Lace (80), October 1995, p 30. It's a point ground pattern which has been adapted from an insertion type piece designed by Jean Leader (Lace, (72), October 1993, p19).
I adapted the pattern to add a footside, and made a length which I stitched onto a ring pillow for my BIL's wedding, and used a gimp in the bride's wedding colours. Came out looking very nice (well I thought so, and I think she was appreciative).
