Please be VERY careful with Araldite as there are people allergic (including
me and my son)to this. Both the skin and the lungs could suffer even in a
well-ventilated room. However, If you can take the Araldite, putting the bead
in some plasticine with the shaft pointing up
Sewing needles are designed to snap, pins are designed to bend. So it depends
on whether you would prefer a mistreated divider to bend or to snap, and
choose an appropriate item for the shank.
Epoxy resin (Araldite) would be my choice for glue, but that does make it
necessary to find some way of

Sorry, can't help you on the glue issue.

like you want fine pins for dividers. Have you tried "silk pins" for dress
making? Larger, both in length and wire size would be corsage pins?

See if you can get any 'watch Chrystal' cement, it is made for fastening
'glass' to metal.
I used it when I was a jeweler. I got it from a jewelry supplier. May be
your local jeweler can get it for you or fasten the ones you have/take in to
him/her.
Also you should have all parts
You need a glue that will stick to metal and glass. Check the details on
your available super glues to find the right one.
