Additionally, you can add some restrictions in LAM. E.g. you can hide lots of fields of e.g. inetOrgPerson (see attached screenshot). LAM 4.1 will also support to filter the listed entries by a specific LDAP filter expression (e.g. if you only want to display some specific groups/users). LDAP entries that are not readable because of LDAP ACLs will not show up in LAM. You can setup an unlimited number of LAM server profiles for your different user groups. Each can then have a custom view (regarding manageable account types, account profiles, active tools, ...).
