please check that you do not have the "Defaults" settings mentioned here:

https://www.ldap-account-manager.org/static/doc/manual/apds03.html

Also check that the NOPASSWD option is set.

I have my OpenLDAP server running on localhost.
I have LAM running on localhost.
I have a user account, fredo with sudo privileges
The login password for fredo is the same as the LAM server-profile-admin
I set:

Server list: localhost
Path to external script: /home/fredo/bin/lamdaemon.pl
SSH key file and SSH key password are blank


When I run the Lamdaemon test I get:

Landaemon server and path: OK Using localhost as lamdaemon remote server.
SSH connection: OK SSH connection established
Execute lamdaemon: FAIL sudo: a terminal is required to read the password;
either use the -S option to read from standard input or configure an
askpass helper


What is the solution to this problem?
