I'm not on the mailing list, and I apologize if this bug has already
been mentioned.  I just wanted to report it just in case.

I'm using FreeBSD (4.4-STABLE).  I installed all of the required
packages, including the latest DVIPS-5.76.  I downloaded latex2html and
ran ./configure.  It hung on the line "checking for dvips...".  After
examining the config.pl script, and playing around with the dvips
program, I discovered that running "dvips --version" results in dvips
presenting an "Option:" prompt.  So I ran ./configure one more time and
when it hung, I just pressed enter, and configure finished up with no
problems.
