The MacTeX Working Group of TUG is compiling lists of links to examples where TeX is integrated into a larger work-flow:

This is *not* meant to include traditional general-purpose front-end editor-like TeX applications, such as WinEDT, TeXShell, TeXShop, VTeX, Textures, OzTeX, etc. which are listed aready at http://www.tug.org/interest.html.
Also, it doesn't include the obvious traditional application of technical journals (esp. mathematics), though things like: * online encyclopaedia * abstract submission system with TeX preview could be appropriate.
Furthermore, single documents which are particularly well-designed and really show-off the power of TeX, are not what we are looking for here. But these *would* be suitable candidates for inclusion on the `show-case' page:
