Yes, I've run MAX and tested the device as documentation suggests. It passes all tests in MAX, but still gives me the error in LabView. I'm really new to this, but I have a pretty decent computer background. Some other students in the lab here installed the A/D board before installing LabView and the NI-DAQ, so I'll try starting over and putting everything in in the correct order. Hopefully that will do it...I'll let you know, and thanks for your prompt response!

Have you run Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) yet? In windows, it'll likely be on the desktop or Start Menu->Programs->Nat'l Inst You need to do this at least once with the device properly installed before using labview to control it. DAQ Configuration problems in LabView: Error message -10401 AI Group Config
I recently installed LabView 6.1, NI-DAQ 7.1, and my A/D board PCI-MIO-16E-4. Everything went smoothly, but every time I try to run a VI, I am greeted with "Error -10401 occurred and AI Group Config." I have tried every different combination of configurations I can think of, but I can't shake the error message. Can someone please help?
