 Hi all,
I know I've hassled a few of you over the past months, and finally
I've been given the all clear to talk about what I have been working
 on.

I'm doing some game development work for, Sumo Digital, in conjunction
with Yoyo Games, and they have finally released a teaser of the stuff
I've been porting over to Mac OS X since last November.

 It can be seen here...

Apparently with these 2 videos there was an error with capturing or
uploading so it looks very choppy as frames were skipped.

They are silky smooth on my Mac Book Pro.

An accompanying blog entry can be found here (
 http://glog.yoyogames.com/?p=60 )

For those unfamiliar with Game Maker, the games are not the things
being ported, but the IDE and engine are. The IDE creates the game
files and these are then fed into the engine. The same game files
works on both Win32 and Mac OS X ( native Carbon apps ), and 2
weekends ago, I got the engine and IDE working on Linux, all from the
 same code-base with 1 or 2 IFDEFs.

There is still some work to be done, but at least it shows that it is
 basically working.

It makes use of Lazarus, FreePascal and JEDI-SDL.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far and I'm sure you'll hear
more from me as I head towards the public beta release at the end of
March. I still have so much to learn with Lazarus.
