That's what I tried ages ago, but couldn't figure out how to hook it
up to the LCL-GTK1 widgetse

The standard SelectDirectory in LCL in crap, because it works very
different on all widget

When I use the SelectDirectory function I have to actually double click to
select a directory. Is there a way to only click once to make a selection, is
