Ok, I just guessed, because it segfaulted and
didn't have any debuggin
David:
Great, thanks! I'll update the package on my ftp
site.
BTW, have you been able to build the patched code
on a glibc2.0 system? I used to use c0wz for my building,
but can't now with Rick's situation...

In compiling gatping (0.2), I get lots of interesting things :-/
# make
gcc -s -O2 -
David:
Heya. Actually, yea, gatping is a play on Gatling. :)
It essentially sends out 256 minimum-sized icmp echo requests,
ignoring the responses, so as to get a freshened-up ARP
table. I emailed the source tarball out to the list a
couple of days ago; it's also availble on ftp.echogent.c

Shouldn't matter. glibc 2.0.7 binaries run against glibc 2.1.3 all the
time.

Sure. Where do I find it?
Is it related to Gatling Guns? :-)

Not so big a deal as that, David, but still,

I HAVE to tell this story - the first time I saw this message thread, I
about had a heart attack :)
I initially misread it as "gaping segfault in Oxygen" :)

Ok, but I think it would help if you did
gcc -g -o gatping gatping.c
so that it includes debugging symbols. Thanks,
mister :-o
I can always ftp
Matt:
Heya. I just used "gcc -o gatping gatping.c". Didn't
seem to warrant a Makefile. :)

Hi Scott,
Thanks I got the archive. I
Matt:
Heya. Source code attached. If you could send
back to me a compiled working versionI'd be thankin
ya. :)
BTW, yes, echoWall has gatping built for ES2B
only, glibc-2.0 (I believe).
