Things I would try: 1. Replace the floppy drive 2. Can't do 1, boot the floppy in another machine and try backup from there. Memory problems would be down on my list of things to check, although anything that has changed since this last worked would be suspect. Good luck Bob Coffman

Hello guys, as I installed bering on Compact Flash I tried to put hostap*.o to /lib/modules to support XI-626 wireless card. I configured networks and wlan0 but If I need insmod hostap it returns with 10 row faults as unresolved links. Can you track me to fix this stupid problem. Thanks Petr

more info Chipset prism2.5, PCI card. I enable in /etc/modules hostap and hostap_pci as second module. Both of them are copied in /lib/modules. I will try to uncoment all hostap modules to see if It corrects problem. Petr = Pvodn zprva = Od (From): Steve Wright

Yeah, I was beginning to suspect the floppy. Every few reboots (they're often - I'm still in development/config) the boot process trips over a crc error during gunzip of some package or other. What a pain in the butt. How rough, exactly, is the 1680K format on those things? I feel a little
