Are there any pdf docs for Bering UclibC? It's much more convenient to
configure a box by going through a paper
copy, ticking off items as you go. Alternatively, is there a 'flat file' html
doc?

I am using/running Trixbox/Asterisk 2.0 (CentOS) using TDM400P, A400P, and A200
hardware. I can't help you with buildtool! But please make notes and share with
us your experience with

Your checkout seems correct.
Can you post the error your encountering ?
Your problem is certainly a missing host dependency (maybe installing the
newt library on your system will help)
