ez-ipupdate no longer works with zoneedit. From googling it appears
that the URL has changed from www.zoneedit.com to
dynamic.zoneedit.com. This address is compiled into the binary, not
in a config file, so the package needs to be recompiled.
I'd offer, but I'm not set up to build packages.

I worked around this by adding the following line to /etc/hosts.
64.85.73.40 www.zoneedit.com
That won't work well unless that is the default service on that host
Look at your ez-ipupd.conf file and add
server=dynamic.zoneedit.com
