Hello
I'm using squid-2.lrp in a Bering 1.1 on a 64M machine with cache in virtual
disk in RAM as transparent proxy. My settings are:
syst_size = 50M
cache_mem 8M
cache_dir 40 16 256
I have disabled squid's logs, because when they filled up, squid stopped.
According to experience of other members
Thitiporn,
From the FreeS/Wan manual on section RSA signatures
for authentication:
the RSA public key needs an identifier. The
identifier goes into leftid= and rightid= . They are
the names the systems use to identify themselves
during connection negotiations.
4 different ways:
A) IP
Hello everybody,
I tried to add the squid-2.lrp package out of the
Oxygen_Mar.2001_pkg_packages tarball into a running wisp distribution
(2470). The result was a segmentation fault and a unstable system.
Is there another package for squid working with wisp or is it just my
configuration?
Thitiporn,
I looked over my notes again and the configuration I
used was left - road warrior, right - firewall with
ipsec.
conn vpn
type=tunnel
left=%any

umount /dev/cdmnt
I'm not sure why, but Bering automatically mounts the CD and leaves it
mounted. Once you umount it you can eject it.

Ken
just put
umount /cdmnt
at the end of the /etc/profile file ( You can edit this from the menu
under system wide profile).

FreeS/WAN uses left as the local information (i.e., the settings for the
machine it's running on), and right as the remote machine's settings. (l

Hi again. With the advent of uCLIB I thought I would return to my
original plan to create a single floppy disk Bering with SSHD instead of
wasting a CDROM drive.
The packages I need seem to fit on a floppy no trouble but I get an odd
error when packages I didn't source from the Bering uCLIB
I've followed the instructions at
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/openssh2.html but I don't get very
far. When I type makekey, I get the message
/usr/bin/makekey :ssh-keygen: notfound
I'm using the latest image of Bering on 2 floppies set up for dial up modem.
I also checked
I experienced the same thing, it disappeared when I loaded the compatablitity
libraries. But that would probably ruin your one floppy approach.
It is perfectly possible on two flops though.
If anyone can explain for the (in my belief) strange error message please
do
