Hi
Using Bering uClib V2.2 and the pmacct module v0.7.2
only problem is when I do the following command
pmacct -s -a
I get 00:00:00:00:00:00 showing as all the MAC addresses
What I want is to be able to track data usage by MAC addresses not just
IP's
Has anyone found a way to do this?
Thanks to all for your reply. I had testing both
bering and bering uclibc.
Under bering I had to load 8390 module first, followed
by a trick. I made a copy of ne module with another
name, like ne1 like instance, then load one interface
with ne module and the other with module ne1, in my
case

Hi All,
I was looking to do traffic shaping on Bering 1.2 using tc and Wonder
Shaper. I'd like to use the htb version. Does anyone know if the tc.lrp
package for Bering in the shorewall packages list is patched for htb? If
not, does anyone know where I can get one for Bering 1.2?
Thanks
Roger
I always load the (ip_masq_ftp) in /etc/modules. The
thing is I am pretty sure without ip_masq_ftp, I
wouldn't even be able to ftp to the server behind the
firewall. My problem is I cannot ftp FROM behind the
firewall to an ftp server, which is also behind a
firewall.

I think you need to use a specific feature (called passive ports or
something like that) in FTP Server (both Windows Serv-U and Linux wu-ftp FTP
Server have) where you specify the public IP and then server ports (e.g.
50001 to 50010, if you expect to have 10 clients at the same time). When
I trying to find the source code for gpio code in leaf.
I found reference to in in [leaf-cvs-commits] but I can't find the
source.
What is the URL for the cvs repository and is the code in there?
Sorry for being a nuisance but I'm exasparted in trying to find source.
I'm running bering uClib
(This is a continuation of an earlier post which I've lost.)
I'm unable to get initrd.lrp to load with Bering-uClibc_2.2 on a
Soekris net4501. I've tried rolling my own following the instructions
on http://www.telltronics.org/software/Bering/BeringCross.html and I
also tried the latest

Any ideas what's wrong here? Has anybody managed to get 2.2 running
on a net4501?
