Hi,
I have successfully and painlessly converted to DT VOIP using a FritzBox
7272 (reasonably priced - €139). For the conversion, I removed my LEAF
router entirely (to avoid explaining to Telekom if the changeover failed
- KISS principle).
I now want to reintroduce my LEAF router, but I'm undecided where to put
it. I can make it the DSL interface, with the FritzBox behind (client
side) of it, but then the VOIP traffic also goes through it and I will
probably be best off in a bridging setup to avoid double NAT.
OR
I can put the LEAF box behind the FritzBox, preserving it's QOS
properties for VOIP.
Anyone know if the QOS is important in reality (I can't have VOIP
disturbance - it's my wife's veterinary practice)?

Cheers,

Bob
