I am afraid no luck with send-email:
$ git send-email
git: 'send-email' is not a git command. See 'git --help'.
$ git --version
git version 2.7.4
$ uname -a
Linux sirius.ezplanet.org 4.4.0-64-generic #85-Ubuntu SMP Mon Feb 20
11:50:30 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
