How big is the slowdown, and are you sure it's because of squashfs and not some other thing? Can you post some logfiles from the older version that you're using comparing squashfs and ubifs? - Felix ___ Lede-dev mailing list Lede-dev@lists.infradead.org http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/lede-dev

Please can we have an option to build ubifs firmware? I noticed a considerable slow down especially at boot time using squashfs firmware on BT Home Hub 5A. Thank you. I noticed the firmware now builds with "openwrt" prefix instead of "lede". I am building for xrx200 lantiq (BT Home Hub 5). With previous LEDE builds I used to get both ubifs and squashfs firmware versions built. Now I get only squashfs. Fwiw, as a general principle, I don't think it is entirely unreasonable to expect some kind of public discussion before removing features, which would give people a chance to make a case for keeping it. Maybe that happened, I wasn't paying attention (and don't particularly care) in this case. -- Russell Senior russ...@personaltelco.net ___ Lede-dev mailing list Lede-dev@lists.infradead.org http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/lede-dev
