I use print to clean up my journals pretty frequently. It preserves
posting level comments (indented in a posting) but nothing else, as
advertised. Is there a version of print that will pretty print the
postings, but allow journal level comments to pass through?

Didn't think of that, I see your point. I always sort when using
Print. I can post process to do what I am wanting.
