I would agree here! The last date entered would be awesome for me!

Personally I think the last date entered is preferable, since I'm
forever entering data in date sequence.
When I switched from MYOB to SL, this was one feature
Have you altered your pos.conf in any way? The new pos framework
works a little differently than previous versions. You may have some
issues with it.

I like option B. The session date could default to the current system
date on login, but also remember the last date entered for a

Peter,
Agreed. You could allow users to set a session date (in a manner
similar those we have discussed in prior posts) for the entry of
transactions, yet still have system-wide immutable cutoffs and date

Can anyone show the steps how to make pos work. I received "access denied" message when posting or printing pos receipts. By the way, "access denied" also shows when changing the admin's password. I'm running the most current version under centos 5. Thank you

The North Pole isn't inhabited and is now clear of ice in the summer.
The South Pole would be a better match for timezone convergeance.
Be that as it may, I am located in sunny Chelan, WA. PST/PDT

David,
I like the session date idea, as long as there is some log that a user
entered the system with an altered date so it couldn't be used
"creatively" without leaving a trail somewhere. Don't know what abuse
it could support, but my experience says there's always someone who will
