Unless someone wants to run up and implement it, I don't think this
feature will be in 1.3.
However, I think that it is a fair feature request for 1.4 since we
will be addressing these parts of the software anyway. If nobody has
done so yet, please file a feature request.

I just used the upgrade script which did partially solve the problem.
Now the variables are filled with a value when I use the html
template. However when I select to print to pdf or postscript then the
following error occurs:
