terrific against Burnley...If only he'd played more. Schmeichel good too

Not interested in Royal family personally but its a fact that many
thousands of tourists turned up in London to seeing living royals and where
they live, where they go etc
and its also a fact that a large % of those
would not have been in London at this time otherwise. As for day to day
royals
I would add Prince Andrew into that.
Duke of York has directly benefited my business and does a great job as
Trade Ambassador. He is massively well regarded around the world and in
order to benefit UK business he's had a few beers with a few dodgy
characters over the years.

Well in some ways we left the best till last but it is too little , too late.
I was left with thinking 'if only'
If only Naylor had not got injured (2 clean sheets in 3 games and a clean sheet
for the last 88mins in the other)
If only McCormack had been given a decent run
If only we had gone 4 4
Yes, I reckon he overruled his advisors and said I know he is a kiddie
fiddler but I must be with him for a beer or two and damn the consequences.

There's actually not that many on the civil list, but I agree - no one comes
to this country to see Edward, unless its in It's a Knockout of course.

I think you'll find they much prefer houses where the queen resides and all
of them would give their eye teeth to actually see her.
They have nothing to do with our system of government, the queen is the head
of state but has no say constitutionally.

I thought the original point was whether QE2 wearing Yellow and Blue was a good
omen. Well, she did, and we won, so was it?
How do we get her to wear it every week? Another letter to Lord Harewood?
Cheers

Well, you're 100% wrong then.
I like it here thanks. As do my Republican colleagues, 20% of all adults.
Noone comes to see some miserable old German woman, and noone likes to listen
to her talk sh!t in a dead posh voice.
People come to our country to see the old buildings and meet the people,
They have wormer weather and better food than us, hence more visitors,
France is the most visited country on earth and they did to their royalty
what we should have done centuries ago.

PS No, sorry, you're right. People come to the UK in the actual expectation of
meeting the Queen and all her little parasitic little children. That's the only
reason and nobody would ever dream of coming here if we got rid if them. Sorry
for getting that so wrong.

When you get a serial rapist as president, not to mention a whole list of
degenerates in other places, having one family bearing, bringing up and
training from birth a sovereign not to be a complete dangerous arsehole has a

The best thing to be said about monarchy is that
At least we'd get to vote for em. The very concept that someone is seen as
being better and more important than someone else by virtue of their ancestors
killing more folk is completely and utterly perverse.
It won't last for that much longer.

As I said a couple of days ago, we all have our own views re the monarchy -
but to use the Leeds United football supporters pages to further your cause,
is absolutely annoying and on the edge of treason in my book. If you wish
to keep this up, plain and simply, get the hell away from here and
Oh dear!
The royal family cost a fraction of some of the crap we spend money on as a
country.
They do attract tourists. Working round there they get in my way almost every
day. Its the most famous royal family in world. The fact we haven't chopped
their heads off does add something to it.
