On St George's Day, the government will formally acknowledge England's
traditional counties in the life of the nation. A significant number of
counties were 'administratively abolished' by the government in the Local

I don't know. I actually rather like it. Its not very Leeds, mind you -- more
like a Froggy kit…or something Dutch. But apart from the collar (which looks a
bit like the shirt that went under a 70s leisure suit) its actually quite smart.

Agreed. But it's all about sales I suppose...
They obviously struggle to create a noticeably different looking kit with
just "all white" as the brief, and I suppose the

And "change" kit, not "away" kit.
Only worn when away at a team that
It reminds me of a reverse Birmingham City kit from the 70s.
Why on earth can't kit manufacturers just give us a simple, classic white shirt

the collar, with a yellow version for the away kit?

I like it. The strip down the middle takes some of the emphasis off the
advertiser which I like. Over here in the USA people always comment on the
jersery advertising as if it's a sports shirt for team "Net Flights",
"Enterprise Insurance", "Bet 24"...etc.
