Hi Dave - thanks for the 4am effort - a few things I saw differently, but on the
whole agree with the main points - I had Mowatt as man of the match, the kid can
really play, let's hope he keeps progressing - but I know why you picked
Warnock, he had a good game, good to see attacking agression
Re Dave's Report
Thank goodness... an optimistic report in a sea of whinging!
I agree with nearly all that you said Dave, I think on another day had we
had the rub-of-the-green we would have scored a bucketful. It was just

Quite right Nick the cross to Pearce for the second was indeed Mowatt - I have
seen it on TV. Also from TV it did look a penalty BUT he did not have control
of the ball so it was not a clear goal scoring opportunity and so he should not
have been sent off. Perhaps the ref follows the Sky
I agree re Diouf, maybe with Ross now being moved forward Diouf can take his
place behind the strikers. If the other 3 midfielders are Austin, Green and
Mowatt then we have enough energy to make up for Diouf's lack of mobility but
it would allow him to pull the strings.

The crowd of under 22,000 was poor until you look at
other attendances - Birmingham and Blackburn
only got 12 13k
I actually thought 22k was ok considering Bournemouth brought only 300.

Dave, thanks for the game report. And as has been said before...those of us

I'd rather have someone with realistic ambitions than someone who sets wild
targets and sacks the manager as soon as the team falls short. Lack of
bullshit is refreshing after what we've had to endure for a decade.
