The passing of Dave Mackay has led to that famous photo of him grabbing a young
Billy Bremner's shirt being all over the internet today.
But does anyone on the list know what young Billy had done to provoke such a
reaction? I'm assuming it was some sort of rash tackle.

I think that wee
I think Dave Mackay had just came back from a knee injury or something
like that, and Bremner had gone in with a 'robust' tackle in that
general area.
From what I heard Mackay knew exactly what Bremner had done and was
letting him that. :)
