On the plus side, Hernandez kept fresher for a big one on Sunday. Be
interesting to see if either of the new lads get straight into the team.
And Newcastle really starting to look like potential chokers.

Great result, sounded like a shit performance, so what ?
I think the team selection was wrong and I think the line up at the end was
much better than the one we started with. Sacko and Roofe together is not an
option for me.

Don't know about you lot but these last few months I've not worried at all
if we've not been winning during the match - I've been pretty sure
. quicker than Dr. Mike in a bi-polar phase
(apologies etc etc)

Anyone see Rodwell's agricultural tackle against Craig David for Tottingham
last night - he put some feeling into it for sure, and only got a yellow
somehow. Great tackle :-)

There was a brilliant old clip of Vinnie doing the rounds on Twitter the
other day, where he basically crippled Hockaday at Elland Road (when
Hockaday played for Swindon). The ball had long since gone but Vinnie took
out everything. Nowadays a straight red, but then the ref
yeah but we love that.

I think the fact that Breradi has played L Back mostly this year , while being
right footed has limited his capacity to get forward…last year wen at R back he
was pretty good going forward…its a close call.

Plus, whilst much better than he was when he first arrived, Berardi still
looks prone to the occasional psychotic episode (see Cambridge, where he
basically had to get subbed for his safety and the safety of those around
him).

Yep - think Taylor is much better going forward, though Beradi might be a bit
better defensively

Not sure we need to be so dependent on Wood. For me our best football of the
season was away at Villa when for the first 63 minutes we completely dominated
and took the lead. then Wood came on, we lost our way and got a draw.

my money is on shifting Ayling into the centre and using
Breradi/Coyle/Taylor at fullback - that's not shabby.

Fully agree with all that Dave.
If you assume the 3 behind Wood are Pedraza - Hernandez - Roofe, you then
have some real pace / game changers on the bench in Sacko, Doukara and
Barrow. The sight of that bench will scare a few tiring full backs!
But as you say, if Wood pulls a hamstring etc,
I am reasonably excited with the two signings they both appear to have genuine
pace and trickery, so they should excite the crowd and as we all know pace, at
any level, is a great asset.
Monk has sorted the defesive unit so it is no surprise he turned his attention

Weirdly, I warched a few of Swansea"s games early in the seasonand
I really liked the look of Barrow. He reminded me somewhat of Gradel.
