He did well but have a look at his passing especially first half. He gave the ball away cheaply on a number of occassions but I agree with what somebody else wrote in that the ball is given to Philips and he is asked continually to find the killer pass which not surprising he can't always do.

stats are stats and looking at those they mean nothing. For instance they don't include his shot that went over the stand in the first half.  I'd prefer to go with what I saw and overall I thought Philips did ok with a definite improvement in the second half with one or two really good passes.
