Yes, it took me back to that day - my last regular game at ER as I came to live in the desert the next day - and some kind of retribution. John Barnes gave an absolute masterclass, believe we were waving our hankies at him by 4-0 to them at half time. Only remember us doing that before for Bowles and maybe Beagrie? and Marsh?? But then we came back, and, why retribution? We certainly felt that it should have been 6-5 as Chapman had what seemed two perfectly good goals disallowed for alleged fouls on the keeper (don't think it was Grobbelar?). Maybe in today's game they might indeed be classed fouls on the keeper, but reviewing it then on TV I felt certain they were just honest 50 50s .
