I am the author of ‘Never Mind the Peacocks: The Ultimate Leeds United Quiz
Book’ published last year, and am writing to you again with information about
an exclusive offer on my new book ‘three lions and an anorak: an England World
Cup Quiz Odyssey’. The new book is a ‘light-hearted quizzing journey through
the highs and lows of England’s World Cup history’, that has been released in
preparation for this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.
Before the first fixture of the World Cup this Thursday, I am reducing the
price of the book to £3.99 (inclusive of postage) when bought directly from me
via the following Amazon link:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Three-Lions-Anorak-England-Odyssey/dp/1907516301/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A1F97A5YM38X48

The price will be reduced at five o’clock and remain at £3.99 until the Brazil
versus Croatia game kicks off at nine o’clock.

Despite its title, ‘three lions and an anorak’ is not just for anoraks! While
admittedly the round ‘Did I Not Know That!’ is devoted to the more obscure
England World Cup facts that only a true anorak will know, there is plenty for
everyone. England’s World Cup songs, for instance, are covered in the round
‘We’re Singing for England!’ while some of our more infamous World Cup
misdemeanours feature in ‘Infamy, Infamy, the Ref’s Got it in For Me!’ Other
rounds include ‘Young Lions’, ‘Paying the Penalty’ (of course!), ‘1966 and All
That’ and ‘Around the World in 14 Finals’. Overall, the book is organised into
thirty themed rounds of varied questions and is light-hearted, quirky and
entertaining.

There is a ‘Look Inside’ facility on Amazon that allows you to view the
Contents page of the book and also see the first two rounds of questions to
whet your appetite. I’m sure that any England fan will thoroughly enjoy the
book and that it will be an essential accessory at any World Cup party.

 Hope you enjoy the book.

 All the very best,

 Anita Clark
