We've gone from being owned by poor crooks to a being owned by a rich
crook. This is progress.

After reading this BBC piece, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26006243,
I really hope the deal goes through. He sounds like a genuinely passionate
bloke who speaks his mind. His convictions are for tax evasion, which is
honourable in my book.
I'm sick of mealy-mouthed businessmen. Haigh and
the point being when something is bad to the core, ie a crook or cancer,
its all bad. Having more money as a crook just makes you more powerful, it
doesnt make you less crook.

Reading his brief bio on the bbc I am not so sure that Cellino is not the right
man for us - he has money (something GFH do not have) passion about football
and experience
Yes he is 'dodgy' but so are most multi millionaires
The way he treated Brian was bad but a defeat yesterday may have seen
It's strange, I kind of feel the same way.
Maybe I'm an eternal optimist but if they can sort out the situation and have
Brian back in charge then playoffs could still happen this season.
As you say most people with that kind of money have a few skeletons in their
cupboard.
At least its not
To a lesser degree we all think something like that. Its just easier to
simplify it all to black and white.
I'm confused.
I don't know what to believe, what to think and what is for the best.

After years of owners who's sole interest was what they could take out of
the club it strikes me he is exactly what we need. I can't believe the over
reaction of the fans. Would they rather the skint GFH stayed in charge?

I like the fact Chellino demands success.
Does he ?
Is this a bit like Bates demanding success but not providing the means to
achieve it ?
I haven't heard much of Cagliari since the days of Luigi Riva. Have they
qualified for Europe in the time that Cellino was
