Surely nobody thinks that the fact that 52 pts would be a record total
to get relegated with means it ain't gonna happen?

I,m pretty sure that our original relegation from the PL was with, if
not a record pts total, at least with a total
still mean a record-equalling performance. 52pts is the most points for
a relegated team in the Chaampionship.

What I meant by that is that if we were in 6th, say, I'd be more worried about
a team 7 points below us taking our playoff place than I would be of us being
relegated now.
