That being said, a draw suited us better - they needed to win to overtake us at
the top. We kept a clean sheet against a side of bullies and retained our
unbeaten record. That's good enough for me.

Just to set the record straight I thought Viduka was a very talented player,
possibly the most skilful centre forward we’ve ever had (along with Michael
Bridges).
My problem with Viduka was that he frequently turned up and looked like a rugby
player with no skill at all which given his talent
What a great day and what a great performance.
Yes we've had false dawns before including last year's opening win against
Bolton but I sense that this was different. Bolton were poor and still scored 2
whereas I felt Stoke are a good side that wanted to play at their pace but we
just never let
Absolutely mate. That for me was sensational. Going home now for a nice glass
of red and match report.
