The team showed good spirit coming back against one of the form teams in the
Championship. Brighton lost, Wotherwum lost, Millwall lost, and we climbed one
place, now on equal points with Brighton and Wotherwum. Onwards and upwards!

1 point better than none, but we've dropped a place in the table - Brighton
have overtaken us.

John 'Grampa' Sykes
Agreed, Dave. I have fond memories of him - he stayed a helluva lot longer
than he should have at a frankly crap side, and kept us alive with his goals.
I was privileged enough to see him make and score a goal (cos the rest of the
team was so hopeless, they couldn't provide him with chances).
I'm sure we're all agreed, Dave - GMac was a legend as a player, and
unfortunately, a crap manager. I would be pretty surprised if MC re-hired a
failed manager.

3-0 down after 30 mins, I thought it was going to be a cricket score. Leeds
had plenty of possession in the opposition half, but whenever Bournemouth got
within 40 yards of the goal, they looked like they could score. I don't know
whether it was just the defence, but there certainly seemed

Well, yes I'm a bit stunned that we find ourselves in 2nd place, considering
those results of only a few weeks ago. We do seem to be playing like a
different team - is there anything different in the line-up from the bad
results, or is this just a confidence thing ? Trouble is, that
Even in the days of the great Don Revie team, I can clearly recall remarking
