I had to read this mail twice to assure myself that you weren't some callous
bastid willing to put a little boy out of his misery because he wasn't fit
to play football.
A shame really because over the years we could have done with someone like
that in the Elland Rd treatment room ;)

Seriously I was touched...
If it's serious and I think that it was, I really identify with both father
and son.
As for both they can take a lot of pride in their guts and determination.
It's the beating of a problem that is the real success.

Tonight I put a little lad to sleep who's wheezing and coughing away,
but taking his evil tasting steroids to get better soon because he's so
desperate to train and then play a match this weekend, even if he's only
