He was given a 1 year contract, so at least the club did the right thing.
I can’t believe he’ll be playing, but never say never - an injured Berardi for
Cooper - I might take that :-)

I think he signed a new contract, but
Blimey, I thought the list had drawn its last breath with the lack of posts.

I've just seen Berardi listed as a sub in a newspaper match preview for
this evening.
Is it true? Does this mean he's (miraculously?) over his injury? Does this
mean he's signed a new contract?
Or does it mean the newspaper is talking shite?

Given Bielsa's contract negotiations tend to cover things like the tea lady's
trolley, i'd be amazed if he hasnt ensured that one of his favourite players is
looked after.
As to KOTs other question - there was some press this morning about RB

Leeds Live say he’s told Swiss media that he’ll be back in Leeds at the end of
September; no official word, but you’d hope Leeds’ll help him with rehab...

By the waydidn't see any answer to the King of Tonga's question
about what is the status of Berardi..I haven't seen any official
news on it, but I did notice in the Guardian's preview of the Anfield
extravaganza that he was listed along with Forshaw as a longterm injured
player.
Anyone know why Berra was not on the bench yesterday ?Casey was there instead.
In u23s Casey played for 30mins and Bersrdi the full 90 so it does look as if
it was a pe planned idea

If Berardi scores we're on the pitch!!... but it was deflected off a
couple of theirs :)
Roofe got a second and then Burnley got a couple back ended 2-2.
Berardi, Roofe and Shackleton all got starts, along with Forshaw.

Looks like he dislocated his shoulder - some poor bugger had to "pop it back
in" at half time - given his fiery temper I presume the medical team had to
draw straws to get someone to do it, who then had to be put in one of those
bomb disposal suits. Anyway hopefully he'll be back soon. No news
The red card was the highlight of the match for me. The whole event was very
depressing right down to the almost invisible row markings in the aisle.
Actually there was another high point when an enormous bloke started having a

Yep. Ridiculous decision to drop Cook.
