Personally, I feel a bit sorry for TC, injuries/suspensions, Orta, etc.  Not an

Grayson by a country mile - he always said he'd love to return and finish
the job - why not now? He did as well as any of the recent crop. Stam would
be dull and boring and although I care not about his Man Utd links and he
may save us from relegation, I'd "almost" prefer the drop with Grayson than
Stam at the helm. McLaren is a total has been and I really don't like him.
Monk would be my first choice but no chance of that - will we ever really
know under what circumstances he left? 

Looking at recent years, clubs have gone down with points total in the early
40s. At the moment, I can't see anything better than a draw especially
against stronger opposition as we have to face. Avoiding relegation has
suddenly become the focus and that's not being over pessimistic. George
Graham would park the bus and make us hard to beat - anyone? Ha





So often we hear from new signings saying words like "When I heard Leeds
were interested it was a no brainer" What must they be thinking now? I
wonder how many prospective signings have thought "Leeds? Do me a favour, I
can do better than that" I wish the very thought had passed through
Beradi's head. What a liability!

I do have some sympathy for TC (thought he was out of his depth as well) -and I 
not sure if the sending offs were 100% the players fault or the manager should 
take some blame
Having said that only O'Kane's red can be said to have affected the game (o o 
at the time and lost 1 0)
Cooper v Cardiff ( 2 0 down at the time)Saiz at Newport - 2 1 and only seconds 
to goCooper v Millwall - 2 0 at the timeBerardi v Cardiff (h) 2-0 at the time 
and 3 0 by the time he got to the tunnel
Berardi's other red v Bristol we won 3 0 and it was 3 0 when he went off

OF course the subsequent bans have affected us , none more so than Saiz and his 
6 games for spitting but the cards did not affect the results of the games in 4 
of the 5 defeats - if anything they helped the team who suddenly gave it a bit 
of effort, commitment and attacking verve - Millwall so near to an historic 
victory

None of the names fill me with confidence - I assume (false hope?) that given 
the timing of the sacking 9pm on a Sunday, they already have the next one lined 
up and sorted
If it is Heckingbottom or anyone else currently in a job  then I hope he has 
already agreed and we don't end up with the Martin O'Neill situation where the 
current club refuse to let us speak to the manager
I do want a manager who is brought in for the long term and not just till the 
end of the season - we do not want to go into pre-season, yet again, starting 
from scratch. Monk leaving meant that last season was a total write off and not 
the spring board we wanted. A caretaker type would mean this season would be 
another 'one off' with no lessons learned

We need a Tony PulisDavid Moyes type - someone who will make us hard to beat 
and make us work hard. The fans would support that. I don't see his style of 
footie as being attractive going forward, but looking like Brazil can wait - 
let's learn how to defend, compete, and pass a ball again first!!

If Rad & co have learnt anything, and I'm not convinced they have yet, it is 
that experience is key in this league! Unless we invest in a serious manager, 
who can decide on his own transfers, we're doomed to have this experience time 
and again!

As far as the names bandied about so far - O'Weary, Strach, Gary Mac, Grayson, 
McClaren (give me strength!), Hughes (NO!) - none of the above.

I suspect we'll pluck our next Messiah out of the Italian second division, and 
off we go again!!

Still, not all bad, they did the right thing getting rid of TC!

Strachan is good for a laugh-- but there is no way he'd sit in with our new 
managerial concepts. The wolly for me. He set up Maccabi Tel-Aviv who are now 
top of the league. He worked well with Cruyf -- the kosher Orta.

fans.

The McClaren thing is nonsense,  he is a Leeds fan and going to the game means 
nothing.  O'Leary was at a game the other week (unbelievably some social media 
suggesting he, McAllister etc..) should come back

Does anyone think after Sunderland (biggish club huge problems) Grayson would 
be in the board's thoughts??? 

We are much more likely to get Stam or another random foreign manager 

Also Marco Silva??? He was about to manage a top 10 premier team with £ 
transfer budget, clearly got high ambitions,  anyone think he would come to a 
mid table championship club?

Grayson by a country mile - he always said he'd love to return and finish
the job - why not now? He did as well as any of the recent crop.  Stam would
be dull and boring and although I care not about his Man Utd links and  he
may save us from relegation, I'd "almost" prefer the drop with Grayson than
Stam at the helm. McLaren is a total has been and I really don't like him.
Monk would be my first choice but no chance of that - will we ever really
know under what circumstances he left? 

Looking at recent years, clubs have gone down with points total in the early
40s. At the moment, I can't see anything better than a draw especially
against stronger opposition as we have to face.  Avoiding relegation has
suddenly become the focus and that's not being over pessimistic. George
Graham would park the bus and make us hard to beat - anyone? Ha

 

 

So often we hear from new signings saying words like "When I heard Leeds
were interested it was a no brainer"  What must they be thinking now? I
wonder how many prospective signings have thought "Leeds? Do me a favour,  I
can do better than that"   I wish the very thought had passed through
Beradi's head. What a liability!

You have to look at some of the players we’ve brought in, and probably more
importantly, the gaps we haven’t filled; the mass of U23 players as well,
then ask yourself who is really to blame. I feel for TC, I think he’s been
made a scapegoat.

I shall be even more disappointed if it’s McLaren, Grayson, Stamm or
O’Leary.

TBF TC came in telling everyone where monk went wrong, but then made the same 
errors (Newport) and we're in a worse position than we were with monk,. Nice 
guy, but by any metric he failed.
