On the May 28 the largest ever demonstration of support for
reconciliation with Indigenous Australians will be held.
Marches, concerts and other events have been organised all around
Australia as part of Reconciliation Week, May 27 - June 3.

We must march to demonstrate our support for Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander calls for FULL reconciliation and
recognition of their rights as the first occupiers and owners of
the land.

This includes respecting and recognising continuing customary
laws, beliefs and traditions and ending forever the policies of
discrimination and racism.

John Howard's proposal for reconciliation is an inadequate and
contemptible document. It implies that the Aboriginal people
should reconcile themselves to the existing state of affairs and
accept the dispossession, suppression, neglect and other
humanitarian crimes perpetrated against them in the past.

So make your voice heard. Join the people's marches and actions
during Reconciliation Week.
