International Women's Day 2002
The partner groups of the annual International Women's Day Lecture
Series invite you celebrate IWD 2002 at the Melbourne Town Hall on
Thursday 7th March from 6.15pm. Once again we have an inspiring line up
of speakers including: Ella Hooper (singer/songwriter from 'Killing
Heidi'); Sonja Rutherford (Senior Citizen of the Year and Australian 60+
Power Lifting champion); Surma Hamid (human rights activist,
Independent Women's Organisation); and Joy Murphy (Wurundjeri Elder).
The theme for the evening is 'Women of Passion' and will be hosted by
774 ABC Radio presenter Lynne Haultain.

Time: Community Expo 6.15 Speakers 7.30pm
Venue: Melbourne Town Hall, Crn Swanston and Collins Street
Cost: $17 Adult/Full $12.50 Concession
