The conference has been organised around the themes of "Land Rights, the Nuclear Industry, Activism in Australia" Highlights include: Opening and welcome from Joy Murphy, elder, Wurundjeri people (traditional owners of Melbourne) Koori speakers: Monica Morgan and Wayne Atkinson, speaking on the Yorta Yorta people's campaign for land rights and justice. Gary Foley, representing the Mirrar-Gundjehmi Aboriginal Corporation, speaking on the campaign to stop the Jabiluka uranium mine. Robbie Thorpe, Koori (Gunnai) activist, speaking on the (il)legal basis of European occupation and jurisdiction.
