The knob for the index wheel is a 5/16-18 thread. The split nuts are held on
with 1/4-20 threads.
Acrylic can be tricky. If its melting, you need to speed up your feed or
reduce the depth of cut or reduce the router speed or sharpen your cutting
tool. Legacy had a pen video a long time ago
Lighter cuts on acrylic ray lighter cuts on acrylic if it gets hot it can melt
then it resets and breaks remember I said I milled the blank first before doing
the spiral so you don’t take really big cuts like they do in the video.
If I remember the thread is ¼ 20 unc but I will have to check
Thanks – someone in the group emailed me a copy.

that goes on the long threaded thingy.
I unscrewed the index wheel -
Same for me ray but I still buy from them, lots of bit shapes can only be
purchased from magnate no one else in the world makes them, also bits in my
country are so expensive sometimes its still cheaper even with shipping to buy
magnates bits and also a very good company great aftersales
Unfortunately not a huge selection of Magnate here in the UK and shipping
doubles the price. ☹

I am a little puzzled though !! When I visited you, I saw the Revo in your

Bill,
Sander is similar to the sand Flea? Does look like a great concept.
The Excalibur is a great saw. I have the slightly older version before
Sommerville sold the rights.
I have the EX30 far superior to some of the others though Dewalt is made by
same company as well
as a couple others now.
Good tip curt I will try that

Yes I use those sanding blocks or sanding erasers as you call them too great
idea yet over here no one much has heard of them or uses them, cant beat them
for longer belt or disk life. Another thing I use is a shop built V drum sander
it never clogs much either due to its design unlike those
