Hi Mac,To the best of my knowledge, all 1200/1800 models had bearings in them.
The model 900 and 1000/1500 had an upgrade path. To get more nerdy, the model
900 only needed the headstock while the 1000/1500 needed both the headstock and

Yes thats the model. I have the deeper one that can carve some pretty long
projects.
I put a handle on the router side too and run it similar to a profile
grinder as I think
I have better control with two hands (one on each side) and not both on the
tracing pin though.
