When there is a will, there is always a way. DC motors are not cheap most of the time. (if you want to buy them new.) But there are other methods to get the job done besides adding a motor.I have always though that the Legacy could be made to work like an old Barns Lathe. That is peddle powered

I agree with you Denson, several of the guys here have been using the template followers for many projects. I'll be honest I have not done much with the template follower.
