the picture of the branding iron is a cold one for sure, it is a self
contained unit with a PLC controller, my wife purchased it so i didn't see
it till we opened the box, what was really surprising during Covid that it
was shipped from US of A in less than a week, with a custom logo quite
gotcha Bill

Ahhh Mac, you got me there lol. even after 37 years
I'd have to look up the wattage, and I'm sure the head could be changed but
if I did more
then one logo to brand I'd get another whole unit.
As far as reheating I leave it plugged when I'm using it. I think it cools
down to fast to
use it in
I don’t brand them in the shop I never want another fire

Au contraire, Tim,I bet EVERY time your wife steps into your shop - There's a "spark" that quickly bursts into a FLAME! (LoL!)How many watts is yours - and how many "Brands" can you make (burn) before you have to reheat it?Are you able to order additional "brand heads" that you can swap out onto
yep thats the one I have.
Electric, and i do use the laser engraver too.
I have had the Rockler one for over 15 years and its still working. They do
take a bit to heat up but No flame in my shop. lol

Bill,LMAO!! LoL!!!I hope what I sent was a help. Which one(s) did you order?Later, can you give us some feedback as to what you like & don't about what you bought?I'm def. leaning towards one that's electrically heated. A plug-in one - since I have yet to see a battery powered one. Milwaukee &
Bill just get er done! lol
