I don't know - as I'm on "leave" for a week. Visiting our son family in
Charlotte, NC.
In most all cases it is the same price as you would see in the Rockler online
catalog.

Hey Mac,
Thanks
Its actually Red Alder.
The finish is 3 coats of a Food Grade Butcher Block finish.
It has mineral oil and a balance of Waxes in it. I'll grab the brand later.
Its best applied prewarmed and applied with a soft cotton rag.
It still needs to be buffed up a bit, but I had to let it

Excellent!"What is the wood you made it from? Cedar? Hemlock? Cyprus?
And what finish did you apply? (brand specifics - like Walrus Oil applied

I thought it might have been something like that very nice work my friend

To do the dished out rounds I made a template and used a shank mounted
bearing type pattern bit in my small Bosch Pony Router..
My template is the exact image of the actual board
Yes I see how you did all that very nice work how did you do the round recesses?
And as always love the laser work

Thanks Curt. Yes the hold down process was solid. I just tightened until I
could absolutely not move it, then slid the dogs up even tighter. Judging
by the cut I had no movement.
I only had one chance and didn't want to mess it up lol.

Nice Job Tim!
Did the hold downs work well? How many did you use to hold down this wood
plate? You Photo looks pretty solid, the cut looks clean. I am happy for you.
Keep up the good work.
