IMHO the rotary table greatly expands the capability of the LOM. Like many
woodworking machines you just have to tailor it to your needs. I recently
posted a thread here titled "rotary table modifications", since that
posting I have put together two rotary table "inserts" so to speak, that I
very nice! Looks very thought out. That certainly opens up a lot of
features and options.
now if I can just find one thats for sale I'll be happy.

Taper a bit to snugly fit plugs and candles
It's hard to get wood plugs to fit snugly into the holes you drill for them.
Also, when boring holes for tapered candles, a standard spade bit will not

OK, Here is how you accomplish this on the Legacy with a Rotary table.
Mount the table on a ? 4º ? angle or what ever it measures out to be.
Drill press the start hole to the bottom. Mount it on the Legacy rotary
table and rotate and plunge to the bottom with a straight bit. Make
