I have a 800 cnc and the rails are not like the in the picture. Also this same
picture is listed as the Legacy 1000 on ebay.

My bad. The 1000EX was a different listing.
If he in fact had a 800 then he modified it differently than the manual says.
My upper rails are completely different and not doubled up like in the picture.

The 800 ships with 4 rails. 2 upper and 2 lower. He assembled it incorrectly.
Scratch on full rail piece. He chopped it for the two blocks shown on the rear.
2 rails should have been assembled for the Z-height on the inside of the mount
below the top rails.
My 800 Performance CNC is a stock

I have a 900 CNC. Conversational cam was a separate purchase for me. VCarve
should be good with the correct post processing. It has been a while for me so
I don’t remember a lot about it. Mach 3 is what I have to send the gcode to the
cnc. Mine cane with a licensed version of Mach3 since I
I. Have the height adjustment for the 900. Excellent and super easy!

Thanks IAN. I think I will look for a Mach4 compatible board and leave the

Did you just swap out the control card and keep the other electronics? I have

I would like to meet members in the area. I am in West Tennessee. My building

other things to do with Drop Box. I’ll catch up later. I read all posts on this
group. Just don’t post much.
Thanks!
