No it's not possible to have two different main names for the one person.
You have to choose whether to use the birth name as the main name and

Hi Pat,
Currently the easiest way to do this is to use the Marriage List.
Order it by husband surname and then scan from the first Snider for a

You can also set up the Index View to show spouses and scan that but

You can shrink the windows and display both the data and Legacy, but it does

Dear Listers,
I have just re-installed Legacy after changing hard drives. I want to

I don't know where to find the index tab. Would it be too much trouble to

there.
Also I checked your blog, but I don't see where you have

This is a good example of where putting meaning in ID numbers is
problematic.
Tags, in my opinion, would be a better choice to identify family lines.

Renee,
I like your use of the User ID field. I'm hoping that you can give
further explanation of your system. I have both mine and my husband's
families in the same database. Do you designate the family line (first
letter of the User ID) based upon the 4 grandparents or do you go deeper

Please remove my name from this group at this time. I am not far enough in
the Family Tree work to understand much of what they discuss. At a later
date, when I get deeper into Legacy, I will request to be added to the

Good luick,

Let me clarify this -
Tag all of the marriages of men with the last name of FLINDERS.
Tag all people in your database with Death Certificate event.
Search for all people with both tags.

You should be able to tag all of the marriages of FLINDERS men and tag
all with a Death Certificate event. Then do a search where both tags
exist.
