Sara, I also have for years put my census notes under general notes! I
have never used merge (Family Tree Maker) and have just recently purchased
Legacy. I don't mind at all doing this, as it helps me write very clearly
and put down notes, occupation, etc. John

transmitted the search query, Ancestry performed the search, and I got

I used to use WinZip. Now I just use the one inbuilt into XP as I
don't do the more advanced zipping and unzipping I used to when disk

have to select a particular individual.
Click Search, Find, Query By Example, Look for [Individual], Where to
Look [Notes-Genreal], [Contains], [Witch].
Or you can export to a GEDCOM (include all your notes!) and
